Sally El SabbahySally is currently a Communications and Outreach Associate at The American Research Center in Egypt (ARCE). Sally has worked as an intern and freelance writer for ARCE since August 2017. She is a cultural heritage management consultant, writer

and

editor. After completing her BA in Political Science, with joint minors in History and Arab and Islamic Civilizations at the American University in Cairo, she went on to earn an MSc in Sustainable Heritage from University College London. Her research and consultation work has included sites and historic properties in Egypt, Malta

and

the United Kingdom. Previous to her work as a consultant, Sally was a full-time writer, covering topics such as antiquities looting and urban heritage preservation. Her primary research interests focus on the intersection between heritage preservation, sustainable practice, and community development and outreach. Sally is currently collaborating with CAC to provide various program opportunities for CAC High School students.
